Professor Dhindsa has made outstanding contributions in the field of Inorganic and Biological Chemistry and has authored over 160 original research publications.
His contributions in developing environment-friendly chemicals as potential antimicrobial agents are commendable. His work on chemical aspects of medicinal plants, and unitization of naturally occurring toxic plants as nematicides is widely acknowledged. Currently, he is working on developing synthetic oxygen carriers. His research has been mainly funded by; the State Government, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and PL-480 fund. A large number of students have obtained M.Sc and Ph.D. degrees under his guidance.
Prof. Dr. Kuldip Singh Dhindsa obtained his M.Sc. (Hons.) and Ph.D. degrees from Panjab University, Chandigarh under the guidance of Prof. Ram Chand Paul, former Vice-Chancellor. Later, he proceeded to Germany and the U.S.A for higher studies and research.
Prof.Dr.Kuldip Singh Dhindsa was invited in September, 2007 to take over as the Director General of Jan-Nayak Ch. Devi Lal Vidyapeeth, Sirsa. At Present He is working as Director general, J.C.D.V. Sirsa.
After retirement from Haryana Agricultural University, In Jan 2007 ,he joined MM Group of institutions, Mullana (Ambala) as Director General and played a significant role in getting the status of Deemed University for the group now known as MM University.
